About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Team Lead to join our team at The Royal Hotel. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen staff and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Management: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and manage kitchen operations.
  • Staff Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and recruit and hire staff as needed.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, or resort environment.
