Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at PEI INC. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute menus, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and kitchen assistants
  • Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as front-of-house and events, to ensure seamless service
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a head chef or executive chef in a high-volume kitchen
  • Proven track record of menu planning, kitchen management, and staff supervision
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, as well as local health regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction
