Senior Urban Planner

Job Summary:
The City of Windsor is seeking a highly skilled Planner II to join our Planning Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for researching and analyzing data to inform land use policy and planning decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis to inform land use policy and planning decisions
- Develop and implement plans and policies to promote efficient and effective land use patterns
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior levels of government and other stakeholders
- Facilitate public consultation and community outreach
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve planning goals
Requirements:
- University degree in Planning or related field
- Minimum of four years of experience in planning or related field
- Full membership in the Canadian Institute of Planners (MCIP) or ability to attain within three years
- Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products and graphic software
