Administrative Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at BMO Financial Group. As an integral part of our Wealth Sales & Service team, you will provide exceptional support to Investment Advisors and staff, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and exceptional client service.
Job Responsibilities- Coordinate marketing activities, including website updates, social media initiatives, and client recognition events.
- Assist in preparing for client meetings, including scheduling appointments and handling logistics.
- Handle clients' general requests and inquiries, including basic money movement, technology issues, and account opening/update.
- Generate reports and documents as requested and process items for client accounts and files.
- Maintain and organize client database and client files.
- Evaluate and ensure transactions and tasks are appropriately assigned to team members and completed.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members on new technology and policies.
- Gather and distribute information on updates to training, guidelines, technology, and other business-related information.
- Bulked up the rapport with the client to instill confidence.
- Typically 1-2 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with wealth management company and branch operations is an asset.
- Achievement of Canadian Securities Course and Conduct and Practices Handbook exam within 18 months from date of hire.
- Achievement of BMO NB Investment Representative Licensing Program.
The salary range for this position is $32,700-$48,600 per year, paid monthly, plus a potential discretionary bonus. This role requires fluency in English and may involve working outside of the province of Quebec. We offer a comprehensive compensation package, including health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.
