Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Development Sales Specialist to join our team at Recruitment Partners Inc. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment and is passionate about driving business growth.

About the Role

The Business Development Sales Specialist will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining existing accounts, and meeting sales targets through various digital communication methods. This role requires a strong ability to prospect leads, qualify potential customers, and provide exceptional customer service while supporting the growth of our business.

A successful candidate will have a solid understanding of documents and be able to communicate contractual, technical, and commercial terms and conditions effectively. They will also support and collaborate with the Inside Sales Team in all aspects of orders and opportunity development, manage a large email volume, and work within company guidelines.

The key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Verifying orders, including customer's personal information and payment details
  • Maintaining and updating sales and customer records
  • Compiling reporting data as required
  • Invoice reconciliations and completion of credit forms

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Post-Secondary Education in Business Management is considered a definite asset
  • 2+ years of direct work experience in an inside sales or customer service capacity
  • Exceptional customer service skills and experience
  • Strong prioritization, time management, and organization skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with customers and co-workers
  • Detail-oriented and strong proofreading and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to self-direct, multi-task, prioritize, organize, and manage time effectively
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Some experience with an ERP system is an asset
  • Familiarity with sales reports and sales records

Estimated Salary Range

$55,000 - $70,000 per year
