Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Specialist to join our team. As a Contract Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving sales and fostering strong relationships with home builders through effective business development strategies.

About the Role
  • Foster strong relationships with home builders, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Identify potential business opportunities by monitoring building permits and staying informed about market trends.
  • Develop a robust lead base through various strategies, including networking, referrals, and industry connections.
  • Convert leads from competitors by presenting our unique value proposition.

You will maintain impeccable customer service standards, oversee sales operations, and ensure accurate documentation. Your expertise and industry knowledge will enable you to provide tailored solutions to clients while upholding our brand image.

Responsibilities
  1. Business Development and Relationship Management:
  • Monitor building permits and stay informed about market trends to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Develop a robust lead base through various strategies, including networking, referrals, and industry connections.
  • Foster strong relationships with home builders, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Present our unique value proposition to convert leads from competitors.
  1. Sales Operations and Customer Service:
  • Maintain accurate sales order documentation and achieve sales targets.
  • Represent the company in contractual agreements with clients.
  • Manage and maintain orders, including stock ordering and proactive order management.
  1. Professional Development and Technical Expertise:
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry advancements.
  • Provide technical assistance to fellow sales representatives.

To be successful in this role, you ideally have:

  • Experience in sales, preferably in a B2B context.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Team collaboration proficiency.
  • Basic to moderate computer proficiency.
