Executive Chef - Restaurant Operations
About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our restaurant operations at Ste Rose Hotel Motel. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, presentation, and service.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement menus that showcase the flavors and ingredients of South Indian, East Indian, and Vegetarian cuisine
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize efficiency and minimize waste
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and enhance the overall guest experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1-2 years of experience in a senior chef or executive chef role
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and physical stamina
$40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
Work Conditions:- Full-time position with 35-40 hours per week
- Permanent employment opportunity
