Job Title: Marketing Specialist

Definity is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Specialist to join our team. As a Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in promoting our pet insurance offerings across multiple digital and physical channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate digital marketing initiatives to promote pet insurance offerings.
  • Support day-to-day operations, including content updates, quality assurance, and reporting for digital and external partner campaigns.
  • Collaborate with experts in digital marketing, UX design, and SEO to optimize campaign effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance brand presence and community engagement.
  • Create and optimize marketing content, including digital ads, brochures, and promotional materials.
  • Analyze campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics to inform future strategies.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends to adapt marketing tactics and strategies accordingly.
  • Write and edit content for various platforms, including social media, blogs, website, and customer letters.
  • Facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and progress tracking to ensure timely delivery.
  • Support in executing go-to-market plans and demand generation initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Clear, effective communicator, verbally and in writing, with excellent grammar, punctuation, proofreading, and spelling skills.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple communities simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with a collaborative spirit and approach.
  • Understanding of the sales and marketing process relating to new project launches.
  • Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it.
  • Experience managing social media accounts and developing content for various channels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and working knowledge of Canva and Adobe Creative Suite is an asset.
  • Fluency in French is an asset.

Actual salary for the role may vary depending on work location of the successful candidate and other factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, working conditions, and the local labour market. In addition to base pay, eligible employees may participate in various incentive plans which are paid out at the discretion of the company and subject to individual and company performance.
