Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Development Manager to lead our municipal engineering practice in the region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing projects from planning to execution, working closely with clients, regulatory agencies, and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the municipal engineering practice in the region.
  • Mentor junior staff and provide guidance on project management and technical expertise.
  • Oversee project execution, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and high-quality results.
  • Participate in design activities, providing direction to the design team and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary project teams on major infrastructure projects, driving collaboration and successful outcomes.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, scope, and client communications for assigned projects.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in municipal infrastructure projects, including public and private sector work.
  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in civil engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset.
  • Familiarity with sewer, watermain, and road design, as well as local planning and approval processes.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's license.
  • Experience working with Northern Alberta municipalities and First Nations is an asset.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
