We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Land Development Infrastructure Project Lead to join our team at WSP Canada. As a key member of our Land Development Infrastructure group, you will be responsible for leading project consultancy services primarily in the discipline area of land development projects with a focus on private sector clients involving residential, commercial, and industrial subdivision and site servicing projects.

With a strong background in civil engineering and experience in managing land development infrastructure projects, you will lead a team of engineers and technicians to deliver high-quality projects that meet client requirements and industry standards. Your excellent communication and leadership skills will enable you to effectively engage with clients, consultants, and approval agencies, ensuring successful project outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in civil engineering from an accredited university, 6+ years of progressive experience in the design of land development infrastructure projects, and registration in good standing as a P.Eng. in Alberta or eligibility to be registered. You will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work well under supervision.

In this role, you will be expected to manage interactions with clients, contractors, project team members, stakeholders, and the public on various projects. You will also be responsible for carrying out preliminary and detailed design of land development infrastructure, including stormwater management, sanitary sewers, water networks, road grading, etc.
