About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Infrastructure Development Coordinator to join our Critical Infrastructure team at Parsons Corporation. About the Job:

This role requires strong communication skills, as well as the ability to identify and resolve complex issues. You will be working closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure construction activities comply with project agreements, including quality, safety, environment, and life cycle performance requirements.
  • Review and understand project schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Oversee and facilitate the installation of concrete and other materials, ensuring contractors fulfill their obligations and work is carried out according to approved contracts and specifications.
  • Act as a liaison between project management and stakeholders, reporting on inspections, subcontracting, progress, and delays.
  • Participate in project meetings and facilitate regularly scheduled meetings related to BIM execution and deliverables.
  • Support the integration of project data, including schedule, estimate, documentation, cost projections, and performance data.
  • Interpret designs and drawings for technicians.
  • Track RFIs, shop drawings, as-built drawings, and other project documents.
  • Proactively identify and work to resolve site issues that may impede project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated understanding of basic engineering and construction concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a similar field from an accredited institution.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated self-performing experience in the construction field on large, complex heavy civil transportation projects.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a cost-effective, customer-focused, team-based environment.
  • Effective team participation and ability to coordinate work of others.
  • Valid driver's license, preferably with a clean abstract.
