Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is approximately $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a dental plan and health care plan.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our kitchen team as an Executive Chef Assistant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will assist the Executive Chef in planning menus, managing food costs, and supervising kitchen staff. You will also be responsible for requisitioning food and kitchen supplies, training staff in preparation and cooking techniques, and ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 3-5 years of experience in a similar position;
  • Strong leadership and communication skills;
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a clean and safe working environment;
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures;
  • Ability to train and supervise staff members.
