We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the well-being of our residents.
About the Role:This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Registered Nurse to work in a long-term care setting. You will be responsible for providing professional, safe, and effective nursing care to our residents, working collaboratively with the Coordinator of Resident Care and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support for residents.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN or RPN registrant.
- Valid CPR certification.
- Current knowledge in the field of geriatric nursing.
