Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in Smithers, BC. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional health services to our community.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will have a passion for nursing and a commitment to delivering compassionate care to our clients. You will work in close association with our inter-professional team to provide ongoing intensive outreach nursing care, case management, and mental health and substance use support services.
Responsibilities- Provide ongoing intensive outreach nursing care to assigned clients
- Develop and implement individual treatment plans to maximize community functioning and reduce re-hospitalization
- Work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience in mental health and substance use programming
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
