Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our Specialized Services team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide primary therapeutic, case management, and mental health and substance use support services for assigned clients in hospital, residential, or community settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide primary therapeutic services to clients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Collaborate with the inter-professional clinical team to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
• Provide case management services to support clients in achieving their goals and improving their overall well-being.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree in mental health and substance use related discipline, plus two years of recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Valid Class 5 BC driver's license with access to personal vehicle for business purposes.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and members of the interdisciplinary team using verbal, written, and computer communication means.
• Ability to integrate and evaluate pertinent data to problem-solve and make decisions effectively.
