Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Air Import Operations Coordinator to join our team at DSV. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of shipments, ensuring compliance with DSV policies and government regulations, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate daily shipments, establishing and coordinating schedules with carriers and tendering shipments
  • Create and coordinate country-specific documents, adhering to all domestic and international shipping regulations
  • Track and trace all shipments, prepare and publish reports as requested
  • Proactively identify problems and implement solutions, confirming rates with carriers and responsible for cost containment of shipments
  • Evaluate shipments, consolidate loads, and select the most cost-effective method of pick-up and delivery
  • Ensure all DSV KPIs are met throughout the movement of the shipment, performing lane analysis to select the most appropriate mode of transport
  • Manage new account implementation from standard operating procedure to execution
Requirements
  • A minimum of two years of international transportation industry experience or education in supply chain logistics, international transportation, or a related field of study
  • CIFFA certificate and Dangerous Goods Certification are assets
  • Proficient in English and French, with the ability to communicate effectively in a diverse multicultural environment
  • Microsoft Office suite and CargoWise experience are assets
