Job Title: Administrative Assistant
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at BEST WESTERN PLUS PARRY SOUND. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events
- Coordinate the activities of the HR department to ensure they meet the organization's goals
- Coordinate the flow of information within the team
- Direct and control daily operations
- Evaluate daily operations
- Motivate staff
- Open and distribute mail and other materials
- Plan and control budget and expenditures
- Plan and organize daily operations
- Review HR projects to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
- Establish and implement policies and procedures
- Train other workers
- Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences
- Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies
- Manage contracts
- Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
- Answer electronic enquiries
- Compile data, statistics, and other information
- Provide customer service
Requirements:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- Permanent employment
- English as the primary language of work
- 35 to 40 hours of work per week
