Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at BEST WESTERN PLUS PARRY SOUND. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and preparing correspondence.
  • Coordination: Coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events, ensuring all details are taken care of.
  • HR Support: Assist the HR department in coordinating activities, ensuring they meet the organization's goals.
  • Communication: Coordinate the flow of information within the team, ensuring everyone is informed and up-to-date.
  • Operations: Direct and control daily operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Evaluation: Evaluate daily operations, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Staff Motivation: Motivate staff to perform at their best.
  • Mail and Materials: Open and distribute mail and other materials.
  • Budgeting: Plan and control budget and expenditures.
  • Policy Implementation: Establish and implement policies and procedures.
  • Training: Train other workers on new procedures and policies.
  • Meeting Minutes: Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences.
  • Recruitment: Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies.
  • Contract Management: Manage contracts.
  • Customer Service: Provide customer service to our clients.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Permanent position.
  • English is the primary language of communication.
  • 35 to 40 hours per week.
