Job Description for Executive Chef at Capitol Pub

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Capitol Pub. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our menu offerings are of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and specials.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Staff Management: Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our customers.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we are always stocked and ready to meet customer demand.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Ensure that the kitchen and work areas are clean and safe for staff and customers.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
