Job Summary

We are seeking a Technical Safety Specialist to join our operational risk management team. The successful candidate will assist in Process Hazard Analysis consulting projects, contribute to content creation for the Process Safety Board community, and engage in community building activities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in Process Hazard Analysis consulting projects involving the design and engineering for existing and/or new chemical and process facilities.
  • Contribute to content creation for the Process Safety Board community and Process Hazard Analysis Books.
  • Engage in community building activities on the Process Safety Board.
  • Participate in the development of technical safety policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Work with project managers to coordinate meeting execution.
  • Communicate with process engineers to understand relevant process parameters.
  • Identify process design deficiencies and industry best practices.
  • Lead and record content from process hazard analysis meetings.
  • Generate risk analysis reports.
  • Provide strong decision leadership to clients.
  • Prepare documents for risk analysis meetings with clients (e.g., reviewing engineering drawings such as Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams and Plot Plans).
