Job Summary

We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Health Care Aide to join our team. As a Health Care Aide, you'll play a vital role in delivering personalized care to our clients, helping them with their daily activities and promoting their overall well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality care to clients, including assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Help clients with their medication management, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Collaborate with our Care Designers to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Document client progress and report any changes or concerns to our Care Designers.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Health Care Aide or in a related field is an asset.
  • Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search (within last 12 months).
  • TB test (within last 24 months).
  • Proof of Double COVID 19 Vaccination.
  • Current First Aid with CPR.
  • Excellent English skills (written and verbal).
  • Clean driver's abstract and willingness to drive seniors.
  • Able to work multiple shifts of 2-8 hours per shift in at least two of the following cities: Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge, or Mission.
  • Two positive professional references.
