Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Health Care Aide to join our team. As a Health Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, helping them with their daily needs and activities.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Help clients with their medication management, including administering medications and monitoring their effects.
- Assist clients with their mobility and transfer needs, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks for clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in activities and conversations that promote their mental and emotional well-being.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client care, including progress notes and medication administration records.
- Collaborate with our care team to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs and goals of each client.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Health Care Aide or in a related field is an asset.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is required.
- Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of our clients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
