Job Summary:


The Administrative Support Specialist will provide high-level administrative support to the management team at Millwoods Meat Shop Ltd. This role involves coordinating seminars, conferences, and other events, planning and controlling budget and expenditures, and supervising other workers. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and implementing policies and procedures, training other workers, and recording and preparing minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences.

  • Overseeing the preparation of reports
  • Advising senior management
  • Liaising with management, union officials, and HR consultants
  • Greeting people and directing them to contacts or service areas
  • Typing and proofreading correspondence, forms, and other documents
  • Conducting research
  • Providing customer service
  • Recruiting and hiring staff
  • Consulting with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
  • Conducting performance reviews
  • Supervising office and volunteer staff
