Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused BDC Service Representative to join our team at Performance Auto Group. As a BDC Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, scheduling service appointments, and coordinating internal work with our Service, Parts, and Sales Department staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with customers via telephone and email.
  • Schedule service and maintenance retention appointments.
  • Answer inbound calls and respond to customer inquiries and web leads promptly.
  • Coordinate internal work and liaison with Service, Parts, and Sales Department staff.
  • Correspond with clients and prospective clients using established dealership templates.
  • Utilize dealership call scripts for all inbound and outbound service calls.
  • Update information regarding scheduled and confirmed appointments with customers.
  • Accomplish daily, weekly, and monthly goals as established by the Service Manager.
  • Streamline the CRM with information regarding verbal communication with customers.
  • Document information in the Appointment Log when an appointment is scheduled.
  • Study products and services to enhance ability to assist customers.
  • Comply with customer handling and marketing functions.
  • Communicate with the Service Manager about potential customer issues or problems.
  • Perform outbound campaigns as assigned by the Service Manager.
  • Perform service administrative duties as requested by the Service Manager.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • 1-2 years of dealership experience is an asset.
  • Experience with the CDK and Xtime program is considered an asset.
  • Excellent customer service skills with enthusiastic and friendly demeanor.
  • Valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record.
  • Able to work well under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret customer needs and offer solutions.
  • Highly flexible with solid interpersonal skills.
  • Able to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to perform multiple duties in a high-energy environment.
  • Results-oriented mindset.
  • Willing to work as a team member and interact with others professionally.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to a changing schedule.
