Job Title: Human Resources Advisor-FT

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Human Resources Advisor to join our team at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. As a key member of our HR team, you will provide generalist support in all areas of Human Resources and Organizational Development, ensuring a positive and productive work environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR support to managers, colleagues, and employees, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with department managers to identify and address HR-related issues
  • Conduct investigations and provide recommendations on HR-related matters
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in Human Resources, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
