The North Transportation is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing human resources policies and programs. Your expertise in training and development will enable you to train staff, coordinate employee performance and appraisal programs, and manage training and development strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, and implement human resources policies and programs
  • Train staff on various topics, including coaching and performance management
  • Coordinate employee performance and appraisal programs
  • Manage training and development strategies to enhance staff skills and knowledge
  • Hire, train, and supervise staff to ensure a high-performing team
  • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures to promote a positive work environment
  • Recruit and hire staff to meet business needs

Requirements:

  • College/CEGEP education
  • 1-2 years of experience in human resources or a related field
  • Ability to work independently with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Organized, team player with a strong sense of accountability
