This role involves identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, preparing and posting notices and advertisements, and collecting and screening applicants.

The selected candidate will advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment, contact potential applicants to arrange interviews, and co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.

The Human Resources Specialist will also notify applicants of results of the selection process and prepare job offers, advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, and organize staff consultation and grievance procedures.

In addition, the successful candidate will negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes and co-ordinate the termination of employment process, and determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of employment legislation and regulations, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

They will also possess strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
