We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team in the Stratford area. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a variety of long term and acute care facilities, providing exceptional nursing care to residents.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and resident plans of care.
  • Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure excellent care and personal support in assigned home areas.
  • Ensure timely and safe resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of medications, narcotics, and other controlled substances.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents.
Requirements
  • Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Ability to work with individuals with infectious diseases.
  • BLS Certificate and valid First Aid & CPR.
  • Proof of current immunizations, including MMRV and Hepatitis B.
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied shift times, including 8- or 12-hour shifts.
  • Ability to 'float' between units within a hospital, as needed.
  • Reliability and adherence to RhynoCare's shift acceptance/cancellation policy.
