About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced NSWOC Nurse to join our team at CarePartners. As a NSWOC Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing wound and ostomy consultation services to patients in our clinics and community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide wound and ostomy consultation services to patients in our clinics and community
  • Assess and manage wounds and ostomies, including performing lower leg assessments and providing conservative sharp wound debridement
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote optimal patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient goals and outcomes
  • Provide education and support to patients and caregivers on wound and ostomy care
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RN) diploma
  • Current College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) registration in good standing
  • Graduate of Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy & Continence Canada (NSWOCC, formerly CAET), CNA exam may be pending
  • Several years of escalating experience managing wounds and ostomies
  • Strong desire and commitment to making a difference in the lives of our patients
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • A valid driver's license and vehicle
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • CPR Certification
  • Current immunization record including 2 step TB test
  • To protect our patients, we require a current vulnerable sector check and a clear background check
