Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor and manage patient's vital signs, medication, and treatment plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Minimum two years of experience in critical care nursing
- Recent courses or in-services in critical care nursing and cardiac care nursing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Working knowledge of Meditech Information System and personal computer applications
- Recognized Critical Care Certificate
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
