Job Title: Registered Nurse - Wound and Ostomy Specialist

Job Summary:

CarePartners is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Wound and Ostomy Specialist. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide expert care to patients with complex wounds and ostomies, promoting optimal patient outcomes and supporting our patients' safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide wound and ostomy consultation to patients in the clinic and community
  • Assess and manage wounds and ostomies, including providing education to patients and caregivers
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote optimal patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to achieve patient-centered care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

Requirements:

  • Graduate of Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy & Continence Canada (NSWOCC, formerly CAET)
  • Several years of escalating experience managing wounds and ostomies
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle for regular travel
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Current immunization record, including 2-step TB test
