Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to technical issues and provide timely and effective solutions
  • Consult technical manuals and guides to research and implement solutions
  • Provide training and advice to users on technical matters
  • Collect and maintain a log of problems and solutions for future reference
  • Participate in the redesign of applications and software
  • Supervise other technical support workers
  • Provide business systems, network, and internet support to users
  • Set up equipment for employee use and perform or ensure proper installation of cables, operating systems, or software
  • Perform web-server backup and recovery operations
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Associate Computing Professional (ACP) certification
  • Cisco certified network associate
  • IBM Certification
  • Network+ Certification
  • Knowledge of Unix, JavaOS, networking security, servers, .NET, C#, and C++
  • Criminal record check
