At Qualicare Home care Kamloops, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Specialist to join our team.
About the Role:
The Patient Care Specialist will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and personal support services to our clients. This includes assisting with daily living activities, managing medical equipment, taking vital signs, serving meals, and transporting patients as needed.
Main Responsibilities:
- Bathing, dressing, and grooming patients with dignity and respect
- Administering first aid in emergency situations
- Assisting with cleaning and setup of medical equipment
- Taking vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
- Serving meals and ensuring patients receive proper nutrition
- Transporting patients safely and efficiently
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must possess a high level of physical fitness and attention to detail. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
