Corporate Affairs Director Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic public relations and social media plans to enhance corporate reputation and community initiatives.
  • Support marketing strategies with public relations and social media efforts for new and established products.
  • Plan and execute public relations campaigns, including content development, media relations, and event coordination.
  • Write and edit engaging content suitable for various formats.
  • Manage budgets and ensure adherence to Amgen's principles and guidelines.
  • Analyze non-financial metrics to measure campaign effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in public relations with a deep understanding of the Canadian pharmaceutical and biotechnology landscape.
  • Solid strategic capabilities, excellent communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a complex environment.
  • Record of accomplishment in supporting product launches and corporate reputation programs.
  • Bilingualism (French & English) and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary, estimated at $120,000-$150,000 per year, depending on location and experience. In addition to the base salary, Amgen offers comprehensive Total Rewards Plans that align with local industry standards.
