Job Title: Childcare Centre Manager

At Sentient HR Services Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Childcare Centre Manager to lead our team and provide exceptional care to our children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the daily operations of the childcare centre, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children.
  • Supervise and train staff, including RECEs, to ensure high-quality care and programming.
  • Develop and implement child programming, including PA Days, March Break, and Summer Camp.
  • Manage child enrollment, attendance, and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with licensing requirements.
  • Oversee the centre's budget, including food, equipment, and supplies, and ensure compliance with nutritional requirements.
  • Support the centre's communication strategy, drafting and approving communication for social media and email.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory capacity within a childcare environment.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Registered Early Childhood Educator, working in an integrated setting with children of different abilities and ages.
  • Experience working with technology, including MS Office Suite and database systems.
  • John Ambulance certificate in First Aid and Infant and Child CPR Certificate.
  • Working knowledge of the Child Care & Early Years Act (CCEYA).
  • Satisfactory Vulnerable Screening Police Check.
