We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Educator to join our team at KIDDY PLACE CHILDCARE CENTRE INC. This role is essential in nurturing the growth and development of young children in a supportive environment.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Work Environment

The position is based in a Child Care Centre, where you will collaborate with other professionals to provide a safe and engaging atmosphere for children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist colleagues with housekeeping and meal preparation tasks.
  • Care for infants and toddlers, including bathing, diapering, and feeding.
  • Design and implement childcare programs that foster physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Maintain and organize daycare equipment.
  • Engage children through storytelling, music, and crafts.
  • Guide children in developing healthy habits related to eating, dressing, and toilet use.
  • Monitor children for signs of learning or behavioral issues and prepare reports for parents or supervisors.
  • Document observations on children's progress for early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Build and sustain collaborative relationships with coworkers and community service providers.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and assistants.
Certifications Required
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
