Job Description

Overview

We are a pet grooming shop located in a busy area. As an Animal Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and attention to our furry clients.

Responsibilities

  • Bathe and shampoo animals with care and attention to detail
  • Clip animal coat to maintain their natural beauty
  • Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stall, and enclosures to ensure a healthy environment
  • Clean animal ears and clip animal nails with precision
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism
  • Plan and organize daily operations to ensure smooth running of the shop
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement
  • Direct and control daily operations to achieve our goals

Credentials

A Pet Grooming Certificate is a must-have for this role. If you have any additional certifications or qualifications, we encourage you to share them with us.

Experience and Specialization

We welcome applicants with experience in caring for all breeds of dogs. Your ability to work with domestic animals/pets (cats, kittens, puppies, dogs, etc.) will be highly valued.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and bending, crouching, kneeling as needed. Attention to detail is crucial in this role.
