Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Truck Fleet Foreman/Woman to join our team at Pride Fleet Solutions Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 people and coordinating the daily activities of our trucking operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the daily activities of our trucking operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Prepare and submit production reports, tracking key performance indicators and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities, including dispatching, to meet customer demands and deadlines.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
  • Recommend personnel actions, including promotions, terminations, and performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate repairs and rentals, managing our fleet of vehicles and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees, customers, and vendors.
  • Flexibility, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Team player, with the ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals.

Working Conditions:

  • 30 to 42 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
  • Permanent work term.
