About the Role

Pride Fleet Solutions Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Fleet Foreman/Woman to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our fleet, ensuring that our vehicles are properly maintained and that our drivers are equipped to handle any situation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervision and Leadership: You will be responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 people, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their performance goals.
  • Dispatching and Scheduling: You will be responsible for coordinating the activities of our fleet, ensuring that our vehicles are properly dispatched and that our drivers are scheduled to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Reporting and Record Keeping: You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate reports and records, including production reports, safety records, and other relevant documentation.
  • Health and Safety: You will be responsible for ensuring that our fleet is operating in a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Personnel Management: You will be responsible for recommending personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions.
  • Logistics and Coordination: You will be responsible for coordinating repairs and rentals, ensuring that our fleet is properly maintained and that our drivers have access to the resources they need.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Word
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the trucking industry, with a focus on fleet operations and management
  • Security and Safety: Ability to pass a criminal record check
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication skills, flexibility, organization, and teamwork
