The Corporate and Early Talent Acquisition team at GFL Environmental Inc. is expanding its roster with a seasoned Corporate Recruiter. In this role, you will collaborate with various business functions across North America to drive recruitment efforts and provide a superior candidate experience. As a strategic advisor, you will work closely with hiring managers and business leaders to develop effective recruitment strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement full-cycle recruitment strategies, including job postings, candidate screening, and recommendations to hiring teams
  • Proactively source exceptional candidates using various search engines and leverage your expertise to build strong relationships with hiring managers and business partners
  • Partner with the Corporate and Early Talent Acquisition team to ensure a seamless candidate experience and provide exceptional service to our hiring managers
  • Act as a subject matter expert, consulting on market trends, best practices, and compliance to drive results in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Talent Acquisition experience in a corporate environment
  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources
  • Ability to influence and drive results, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to build relationships and trust across all levels of a diverse organization
  • Strong moral and ethical judgment in decision making, with a commitment to maintaining privacy and confidentiality
  • Ability to identify and solve problems, and work effectively as part of a team and independently
