Design Lead for Complex B2B Products

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Design Lead to join our team at Rewind Software. As the key creative force in our product development process, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and ship new features and products.
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing complex B2B SaaS products. You should be proficient in wireframing/prototyping, with a deep understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and visual design.
This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of the design process and work independently, driving the iterative design process, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and users to continuously improve the product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality digital products, working closely with Product and Engineering teams in an agile environment.
- Establish and maintain a design system to ensure consistency and scalability across the product.
- Communicate design decisions and rationale clearly to stakeholders, fostering a culture of collaboration and feedback.
- Actively seek out and propose new design opportunities that align with long-term business goals, whether through emerging trends, competitive analysis, or new technology.
- Proactively conduct user research and usability testing to inform and validate design decisions.
- Drive the end-to-end product design process, from discovery and research to concept, prototype, and final design.
Requirements:
- Exceptional understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and visual design.
- Hunger to take ownership of the design process and work independently.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Extensive Experience with user research and usability testing methodologies.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of $140,000 - $160,000 per year.
