About the Role:
Siemen Energy, a leading player in the energy industry, is seeking an experienced Compensation and Pension Specialist to join its team in Montreal, Canada.
This 15-month fixed-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic professional to contribute to the design and delivery of benefits and pension programs for Siemens Energy North America.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong understanding of Canadian laws and regulations impacting HR, Compensation, and Benefits. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is also essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and partner with the Compensation and Benefits team to design and deliver benefits and pension programs;
- Ensure successful administration of benefits and pension programs through engagement with 3rd-party administrators and service providers;
- Extract reports and conduct analyses in support of benefits and pension plan administration;
- Support quarterly and annual compliance requirements;
- Craft effective communications for HR, managers, and employees regarding benefit programs.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience;
- 3-5 years of experience managing and administering Canada benefits and pensions;
- Current knowledge of Canadian laws and regulations that impact HR, Compensation, and Benefits;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills;
- Effective communication skills;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Fluent English proficiency required; Advanced proficiency in Canadian French is a plus.
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
