About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pension Consultant to join our team in Canada Wealth Solutions. As a key member of our pension consulting team, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative and effective solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary focus will be on providing consulting services and technical support to various clients, including:

  • Producing and reviewing pension-specific calculations, such as actuarial valuations, improvement studies, and projections;
  • Reviewing pension-specific benefit calculations according to established standards and procedures;
  • Preparing reports and letters, and participating in other projects as needed;

You will also be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and partners, both locally and internationally.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Finance, or Business Administration; or equivalent work experience in a relevant sector;
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint);
  • French / English bilingualism is preferred due to frequent interactions with clients, colleagues, or partners based in Quebec, other Canadian provinces, and/or internationally;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and generate innovative solutions;
  • The ability to react willingly and efficiently to changing priorities and situations;
Compensation

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
