Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled National Sales Development Manager to join our team at Nortek Air Solutions. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing strategic relationships with clients across Canada.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced sales professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional results. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and General Manager, you will play a critical role in expanding our markets and growing our revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute annual sales plans, objectives, and forecasts aligned with our overall sales strategy.
  • Build and maintain a network of independent representatives to support sales growth and expansion into new territories.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, targeting entrepreneurial clients and promoting our products to engineers on new projects.
  • Create and execute customized marketing plans for key clients, ensuring effective communication and relationship-building.
  • Participate in trade shows and industry events, representing Nortek Air Solutions and fostering strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support cost calculations and provide expert advice on technical matters.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering, commerce, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a similar position, combined with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant tools.
  • Bilingualism is not required, but proficiency in English is essential.
What We Offer

Nortek Air Solutions offers a competitive base salary, comprehensive benefits package, pension plan, and incentive program. This role requires home office and road travel (approximately 50-60% of your time) and involves covering the Canadian territory. A valid passport and driver's license are also required.

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per annum
