Job Title: Packaging Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Packaging Supervisor to join our team at Five Star Foods Inc. in a permanent position.

Job Summary:

The Packaging Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the packaging process, ensuring that products are packaged efficiently and effectively. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train and supervise staff in packaging duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Recommend personnel actions, such as hiring and promotions, to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
  • Prepare production reports to track efficiency and productivity.
  • Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of 3-4 staff members.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other departments.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organized and reliable with a strong attention to detail.
Work Environment:

The Packaging Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with heavy loads and will be required to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills and be able to prioritize tasks effectively.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours:

The working hours are 35 hours per week.
