We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our production team as a Feeder/Catcher. In this role, you will be responsible for feeding cartons into gluing machines and removing finished products from the press, packing them into cases. This is an entry-level position that offers opportunities for growth and development within our company.
Key Responsibilities- Perform manual labor duties in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, working under tight production deadlines.
- Feed cartons into gluing machines, ensuring proper alignment and quality.
- Remove finished products from the press and pack them into cases, maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor machine malfunctions and notify the Adjuster of any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Perform basic preventative care and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and quality control measures.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or machine operations is preferred, but on-the-job training will be provided.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand/power tools are desirable.
- Strong dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work at a fast pace are required.
- English language proficiency, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
- Basic computer skills and math abilities are necessary.
- Ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift routine and occasional heavy loads.
- Excellent attendance record and ability to work any shift schedule.
- Familiarity with and adherence to company safety policies and government legislation.
