About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Tiny Tots Daycare & Preschool Inc. as a Recruitment Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements and preparing and posting notices and advertisements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staffing and Recruitment
    • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements to meet the needs of our daycare and preschool services.
    • Prepare and post notices and advertisements to attract top talent.
    • Collect and screen applicants to ensure they meet the necessary qualifications and requirements.
    • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
    • Notify applicants of the results of the selection process and prepare job offers.
  • HR Support
    • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
    • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures.
    • Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training.
    • Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties.
  • Computer and Technology
    • Utilize database software to manage staff information and recruitment processes.
    • Use project management software to coordinate recruitment efforts.
    • Familiarity with human resources software to streamline recruitment and staffing processes.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Collaborate with a team to achieve recruitment and staffing goals.
  • Requirements
    • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Reliable and organized with a strong attention to detail.
