Customer Service Professional for Building Materials Industry

We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to support our Calgary team in the building materials industry.
This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to grow their sales and customer service career within the industry.
As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a key role in supporting our customer service, sales, and merchandising efforts.
You will act as a liaison between the warehouse, inside sales, and outside sales teams to ensure smooth operations, while handling customer inquiries, processing orders, and managing administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
- Support inside and outside sales teams and assist in upselling or cross-selling products and services as needed.
- Process cheque deposits, manage filing, and handle claim management tasks.
- Assist with various administrative duties such as maintaining records, invoicing, and updating contact lists.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service or inside sales is an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and comfortable learning new systems.
- A positive attitude and self-motivation to provide excellent customer service and support the sales team.
