Job Title: Executive Assistant

At the Canadian Cancer Society, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to our Vice Presidents and Research Team. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to our mission to save and improve lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide executive-level administrative support to Vice Presidents, including calendar management, meeting booking, travel arrangements, and expense claims.
  • Assist with various internal and external meetings, including scheduling, logistics, and preparing meeting materials.
  • Contribute to the success of the Research Team by providing administrative support, including drafting and editing correspondence, managing files, and coordinating events.
  • Maintain and update membership contact information and term lists for the Advisory Council on Research.
  • Provide event planning and coordination for in-person meetings.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an executive assistant or in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience working alongside executives and providing exceptional administrative support.
  • Proficient in advanced collaboration tools, including MS Teams, OneNote, Zoom, and SharePoint.
  • Basic understanding of cancer research is an asset.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and succinctly.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented environment and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.
