As a leading healthcare authority, Fraser Health Authority (FHA) and the Mental Health and Substance Use Program seeks an experienced Psychiatrist to fill this exciting role. This position will involve a combination of inpatient psychiatry at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and community psychiatry in Abbotsford and Mission communities.

Inpatient Psychiatry
  • As part of multi-disciplinary teams at all sites, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to general psychiatric patients.
  • Services include assessment, treatment, consultation, family meetings, case conferences, discharge planning, consultation, and collaboration with other physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
  • You will participate on the ECT and on-call rotation, which is mandatory.
  • The successful candidate will also contribute to the medical education program for University of British Columbia (UBC) undergraduate and postgraduate trainees.

Following receipt of a CPSBC license, arrangements will be made to apply for a clinical appointment with the Department of Psychiatry, UBC.

Location and Salary

This role is based at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre, offering a salary range of $300,000 - $400,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
